Dear Montview Families,
Each year from September 15 to October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month—a time to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. This month reminds us of the rich diversity within our own community and the many ways our students and families contribute to making Montview such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
Throughout the month, our students will have opportunities to learn more about Hispanic heritage through literature, discussions, and classroom activities that highlight the values of community, resilience, and pride. We are grateful to celebrate the voices and experiences of our families and neighbors who are part of this legacy.
A Strong Start to the Year
As we move through the first quarter, we are proud to share that Montview has had a fantastic start. Our staff is working with dedication, creativity, and heart to create classrooms where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged. We are seeing strong routines, joyful learning, and a commitment to helping students thrive each day. We couldn’t be prouder of our team and the way our families continue to partner with us.
Fall Family Summits
The week of September 22–25, all Montview families are invited to connect with their child’s teacher for our Fall Family Summits. These conversations are essential opportunities to partner together—setting goals, celebrating progress, and making plans to support your child’s success. The partnership between Montview staff and families is our greatest strength, and we are excited to deepen those connections during this time.
Cafecito with the Principal
We also warmly invite you to join us for Cafecito with the Principal on Wednesday, September 17, at 8:45 a.m. This is an excellent chance to come together as a community, share ideas, and strengthen the bonds that make Montview such a special place.

Estimadas familias de Montview:
Cada año, del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre, celebramos el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, un momento para honrar la historia, la cultura y las contribuciones de los hispanos y latinoamericanos. Este mes nos recuerda la rica diversidad de nuestra comunidad y las múltiples maneras en que nuestros estudiantes y familias contribuyen a hacer de Montview un lugar tan vibrante para aprender y crecer.
A lo largo del mes, nuestros estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender más sobre la herencia hispana a través de la literatura, debates y actividades en el aula que resaltan los valores de la comunidad, la resiliencia y el orgullo. Nos complace celebrar las voces y experiencias de nuestras familias y vecinos que forman parte de este legado.
Un comienzo de año sólido
Al avanzar el primer trimestre, nos enorgullece compartir que Montview ha tenido un comienzo fantástico. Nuestro personal está trabajando con dedicación, creatividad y entusiasmo para crear aulas donde cada niño se sienta valorado, apoyado y motivado. Vemos rutinas sólidas, un aprendizaje alegre y un compromiso para ayudar a los estudiantes a prosperar cada día. Estamos sumamente orgullosos de nuestro equipo y de la forma en que nuestras familias continúan colaborando con nosotros.
Cumbres Familiares de Otoño
Durante la semana del 22 al 25 de septiembre, invitamos a todas las familias de Montview a reunirse con el maestro de su hijo/a para nuestras Cumbres Familiares de Otoño. Estas conversaciones son oportunidades esenciales para colaborar: establecer metas, celebrar el progreso y hacer planes para apoyar el éxito de su hijo/a. La colaboración entre el personal de Montview y las familias es nuestra mayor fortaleza, y nos entusiasma profundizar esas conexiones durante este tiempo.
Cafecito con el Director
También los invitamos cordialmente a unirse a nosotros para el Cafecito con el Director el miércoles 17 de septiembre a las 8:45 a. m. Esta es una excelente oportunidad para unirnos como comunidad, compartir ideas y fortalecer los lazos que hacen de Montview un lugar tan especial.
